My name is Garabet K Moumdjian. I am first and foremost an        academician with an advanced degree in History and Politics,       specializing in the Middle East and the Ottoman Empire.

I have taught at college and university  levels for 15 years.

I am the author of several books and articles in academic             journals.

I have worked as a journalist for more than 2 decades.

I have done freelance translation since 1980 in Armenian,            Arabic, Turkish, and Azeri. I also do research in Ottoman

Turkish.

I have  been involved in many consulting, research,

translation and interpretation projects for the USA Federal            Government.
